The Lynx portable video magnifier is an all-in-one compact design featuring reading, writing, and distance viewing. Designed primarily for students, or the employee with workplace needs or special tasks, or the professional "on the go",  Lynx is an 8-pound portable self-contained video magnifier offering up to 5-hours of battery life use.  Zoom the magnification from 2X - 40X in color, B/W, reverse, or yellow-on-blue image mode, as well as adjust brightness to optimum visual comfort on the integrated 10.4" LCD screen.

The primary auto focus continuous zoom magnification camera can be pointed down at a page, book, magazine, or other reading document, or tilt the camera and swivel the arm for distance viewing across a room at a white board, presentation video, or watch the lecturer.  The camera's memory recalls the magnification and image mode settings independently whenever you refocus the camera from close-up to distance viewing.  Alternatively, leave the auto focus camera pointed at a distance, then easily switch to the handy mouse camera for reading.  A unique Quick Release option allows you the freedom to create additional magnifiers to fit your needs.  For example, a student can disconnect the camera from the Lynx arm, then take it home to reattach with a desk clamp arm and connect to a TV for after-school homework.
